Manhattan Fondue
1 garlic clove
2/3 cup dry white wine
2 1/2 cups grated Monteray Jack Cheese
2 tsp cornstarch
3/4 cup cubed cream cheese (good with chives also)
1 Tbs lemon juice
6 scallions copped
4 oz smoked salmon, chopped
Cut garlic and rub on sides of Fondue pot. Pour in wine and heat through. Toss Monteray Jack cheese in cornstarch and add to wine. Stirring throughout. Add cream cheese and lemon juice. Cook gently, stir until thickened. Stir in chopped scallions and smoked salmon. Heat through and serve. ** you can also add Tabasco sauce for some extra kick!
Serve with : Pretzels, bread sticks or cubes, bagel, celery

Well, I guess you can never go wrong with something cheesy! This is like my favorite thing to make during surprise visits from friends or families. It takes no time to prepare and as long as you have cheese (and a good bottle of wine) it will surely be a great night for everyone!
